Welcome to South Huntington Beach
Many residents in Huntington Beach refer to the 92646 area code as “South Huntington Beach.” Featuring desirable beaches, close proximity to Newport Beach and Costa Mesa, an award-winning school system and a laid back atmosphere, this area is one of the more affordable beach communities in coastal Orange County. Most of the tracts were built in the 1960’s – 1970’s and feature single-family homes ranging from 3-5 bedrooms and 1,200 – 3,000sf. There is no HOA in most communities which allows for a variety of architecture styles and additions. As the zip code gets closer to the beach, values and desirability of the neighborhoods tend to increase.
Boundaries: Huntington Beach, also known as Surf City, is a seaside city located 35 miles south of Los Angeles and 90 miles north of San Diego. Costa Mesa lies inland on the East, with Newport Beach just south of HB. West of Beach Blvd and North of Garfield Ave.
